Updates
- 177 evacuees are currently registered in Grande Prairie.
- Alberta Health Services mental health counselling and Service Canada supports are available on-site at the Holiday Inn & Suites 9816 – 107 Avenue, from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily.
- Registered evacuees can now access free admission to the Design Works Centre and Dave Barr Community Centre, in addition to the free transit and admission to the Eastlink Centre and Aquatera Outdoor Pool. Evacuees must show the wristband they were issued at the Reception Centre for access.

The Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Partnership (GPREP) is currently activated to support the 2024 Jasper Wildfires.

Evacuees looking for information about wildfire status or the community can visit

Reception Centre
The Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Partnership (GPREP) is accepting evacuees from Jasper.

- Hours: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily

Registered evacuees receive access to no-cost food and lodging.

Donations and Volunteering
Monetary donations can be made to the Northwestern Alberta Foundation to support impacted communities via the Northwestern Alberta Emergency Recovery Fund.
Physical donations are not being accepted at the reception center at this time. Any companies, individuals or organizations that would like to offer support to those impacted by the wildfires, can email their offers to EmergencySupportOffers@gov.
