Updates
- Starting July 30, the reception centre is moving from Bonnetts Energy Centre to Holiday Inn and Suites (9816 107 St). Hours of operation remain the same from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Starting July 30, Crouse’s Cleaners will be providing laundry services for all registered evacuees.
- For evacuees staying at the Holiday Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn Express, and Stanford Inn, evacuees can access laundry services by bringing their laundry to the front desk before 10am, and laundry will be returned to the hotel the following day. This service will be available from Monday-Friday (laundry picked up on Friday will be returned to the hotel on Monday).
- For all other evacuees, walk-in laundry (wash & fold) service will be provided at Crouse’s Cleaners (10007 98 Ave.) at no cost to registered evacuees by showing their GPREP wristband and ID.
- 300 evacuees are currently registered in Grande Prairie.
- The Government of Alberta is hosting a telephone town hall tonight or Albertans who have been evacuated, to receive updates on the wildfire situation and answers to their questions. If unable to join, a recording will be available after the event. Information:
